Brad Beyer was born on September 20, 1973 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Brad a natural athlete lettered in three varsity sports: basketball, football, and track while in high school.
Brad interest in acting began during his sophomore year at the University of Minnesota when he took an acting class for non-theater majors. Soon his professor was encouraging Brad to go to New York an embark on a theater career.
While in New York Brad landed the off Broadway drama The Chili Queen which garnished him with not only positive reviews from the theater critics but also help him catch the eye of a casting director who asked him to audition for two films he was casting, The General’s Daughter and Crazy in Alabama. Brad landed both film roles on the same day.
Brad has been working constantly between theater, television and films since 1996 when Brad first guest starred on the hit NBC series Law and Order. His first film role was in the Robert DeNiro movie Cop Land(his part was original cut from the theatrical release but was later included in the DVD release).
Brad has guest star on a number of hit series such as Sex in the City, Law and Order: Special Victim Unit, CSI: Miami, Hack and had a recurring role as Sgt. Jason on NBC’s Third Watch.
Brad film roles include Way Off Broad, Trick, The Perfect You and Game Day as well as television films like Monday Night Football where he played football hall of famer Don Meredith and the Sci-fi Channel’s original movie Reign of the Gargoyles.
In 2006 Brad landed not only a part in Billy Bob Thorton’s comedy Mr. Woodcock but he also landed the role of farmer Stanley Richmond on the CBS series Jericho. Brad continually supported the fans during their successful NUTS campaign to get the show brought back after being canceled. Including posting on the CBS message board(as did his co-stars Alicia and Shoshanna) and calling into the Shaun Omac Radio call in show to thank the fans for all their hard work and to answer questions.
Brad is currently filming the Hallmark movie Murder 101 with the legendary stage, film and television star Dick Van Dyke.
